The US-North Korea Summit Meeting
realized like Sudden Lightning
On June 30, 2019, the 3rd US-North
Korea Summit Meeting was held at
Panmunjom in a shocking manner.
Having completed the “G 20 Summit”
held in Osaka, Japan over the two-day
schedule, President Trump visited
Korea, the next visiting country, and

Chairman Kim left the facility with

off Kim at around 4:53 pm.

“This kind of meeting was realized in
one day only because of the close
relationship with the president until
now.”

of a letter from Chairman Kim Jong-un
on June 10 to President Trump. This letter
was the first since the second US-North
Korea Summit in Hanoi, Vietnam in
February this year. The president said,
“It was a warm and beautiful letter.”
After that, President Trump also sent
a letter to Kim Jong-un, which led to the
realization of this time meeting.
There have been many pessimistic views
on the relationship between the United
States and North Korea since the end of
the second US-North Korea summit
in February this year. The reason is,
