Question
There are now large-scale Protest
Demonstrations against racism and
inequity in the United States.
What does the “Mercy and Wisdom
Action of Act ① and Act ② under the
Law of Origin” mean for this problem?
In addition, you mention the importance
of “Perseverance” as the Act ③ in the
basic paper on the site.
What is the role of Perseverance?
And what is the relationship between
Act ① and Act ② and that?
Answer
Act ③ Perseverance means “Gentleness
Perseverance.” In other words, Gentleness
Perseverance means Perseverance for
creating Gentleness. The power of
Perseverance is used to create
“Gentle and polite behavior and attitude,”
so the two are collectively called
“Gentleness Perseverance.”
On May 25 of this year, a young black
man, George Floyd, was killed by a police
officer in Minnesota. Mr. Floyd’s death
was extremely regrettable, and I would
like to think it was a sincere condolence.
As a result of this incident, Protest
Demonstrations against racism have
spread throughout the United States.
Floyd’s younger brother insisted in
front of a crowd of Demonstrations.
(Upper image)
“In my heart, I hate the criminal who
killed my brother, I hate from the
bottom of my heart. But, be patient it
and let’s deny violence and demonstrate
peacefully, in a non-violent manner !!”
“And let’s rectify discrimination and
injustice.”
“Gentleness Perseverance” is exactly
this. It means “using your patience to
the fullest to create Gentleness, and
performing protest demonstrations.”
This form is much more powerful than
violent protests.
For example, by looking at this form of
protest, Police officers who is trying to
stop the demonstration, showed the
“Sympathy” for it. Some police officers
resonated with the demonstrators and
done of “kneeling.” The sight could be
seen in various parts of the United
States, including New York, Washington,
Los Angeles, and Houston.
June 1st in New York, a striking scene
was filmed of white Terence Monahan
police chief who raised his hand which
held with the demonstrators, and kneel
down. He has shared the furiousness
about Mr. Floyd’s death and expressed
his support. Similar scenes could have
been seen in the states of Florida, Illinois,
Missouri, Georgia, and the capital city of
Washington.
On May 30, Sheriff Chris Swanson of
Flint, Michigan, also said to the protesters.
(Upper image)
“I took off my helmet and lowered the
baton. Let’s walk forever!”
“I’m going to walk even all night.”
In Des Moines, Iowa, police chief Dana
Wingert knelt in front of the demonstrators
with other police officers and explained
as follows:
“I want to participate in a peaceful
demonstration, a symbolic way. Let me
do at least that.”
When the relatives are killed, everyone
will have a “heart of hatred and anger.”
Also, if you receive unjust violence,
the anger against it will arises. When
you fight against such a “hateful heart
and angry heart” that occurs in your
heart, Perseverance will become
necessary. Because if you do not win
the battle in your heart, you cannot get
the “Form of Gentlenesss” and the
“Non-violent Form.”
Looking back on past history, there
have been several protests against this
form of racism. A representative example
is the “Great Washington March” on
August 28, 1963, in response to
Reverend King’s call for the elimination
of racism and racial segregation.
Over 200,000 people participated in this
march. The march at this time was
a movement called by the minority
blacks to guarantee the rights of
individuals recognized by the Constitution,
and was called the “Civil Rights Movement.”
Many white people participated
in this time Demonstration.
What does that mean?
However, this time Demonstration
has a major feature not seen in past
Demonstration. It is that not only black
people but also many white people
participate in Demonstration. In particular,
there are many white young people.
The protests held in New York on June
10th of this month were mostly white.
What does this mean?
This shows that many white people are
also subjected to discrimination and
unfair treatment in their social life, both
large and small. For instance, in the same
company, discriminatory behavior and
sneaky words from the boss often make
ordinary employees feel discriminated.
There is a big difference in terms between
“the side who says it” and “the side of be
said it.” The person who said it, said with
lightly feeling, however, a person who was
said it, felt a sense of discrimination and
was extremely uncomfortable.
*
Regarding the “Errors that occur during
work,” the company and employees often
develop severe conflicts and disagreements.
For instance, if an employee makes
a mistake, company makes it a liability
issue even the slightest mistake and blame
and punish the employee. However, if a
company or boss makes a mistake, they will
not be blamed and no one punishes them.
Moreover, the responsibility is not asked.
These things often becomes a factor of
the fight for “Unfairness” and
“Discrimination.”
On March 3, 1991, a black man named
Rodney King was assaulted by four police
officers for the crime of speeding
(Rodney King case). The situation was
happened to be filmed in a video and later
it has been aired across the United States.
However, the following year, when those
assaulted police officers were acquitted,
this incident has triggered a “Large Los
Angeles Riot” (April 1992).
The factors that triggered this case are
essentially the same as the unfairness
within the company that I just talked above.
In other words, Rodney King, despite
receiving violent assault by a relatively
minor mistake of speeding, the crime of
the police officers who assaulted him,
is not asked at all and they became
acquitted. This sense of discrimination
and unfairness are the essence of the
problem and the root causes.
In modern society, not only black people
but also many white people may suffer
by the treatment of inequality and
unfairness while they live in social life.
It is thought that that “suffering” was
the reason why many whites have
“sympathy” for black racism.
Many white people have become
better able to understand the
“Heart of suffering from racism” that
black people have experienced so far,
from the experience that they suffered
from discrimination treatment from
their companies and bosses etc.
As a result, many whites are believed
to have taken part in this Protest
Demonstration.
That is, the white people who
experienced the same kind of suffering
as the black people, had a feeling of
empathy for the black people.
Thinking about “Mistakes that
occur during work” from the
standpoint of both the company
and employees
Now, let’s think about this “Error that
occurs within the company” from
the standpoint of both the company
and employees. True, if an employee
makes a mistake, it is fact that it
develops into a big problem or big
incident. For instance, if a mechanic
makes a maintenance mistake in an
Airplane Maintenance Shop, it can
cause catastrophic accident because
of that and many lives may be lost.
And the company also loses great
social credibility and public trust.
Therefore, a company or boss
become that if an employee makes
even a few mistakes, they will point it
out severely.
However, when the boss points out
an employee’s mistake, if they insults
or abuses the employee for that
matter, the employee feels that he has
received “unjust discrimination” or
“verbal violence” and they will be
severely rebellious.
Unfortunately, many bosses often do
not understand the “Suffering on the
side of being pointed out” at this time.
The boss thinks, “it is natural that one
who makes a mistake is pointed out
severely and suffer,” and does not
think any further.
However, in reality, what the boss
should do and say at this time is
important.
When a boss points out an employee’s
mistake, he/she must need to use words
with consideration and be extremely
careful in what he/she does and says.
In this respect, both the company
and the boss also need “Gentleness
Perseverance.”
Specifically, when an employee
makes a mistake, it is important to
strictly point out just only the mistake.
Don’t blame other things. If you do so,
your employees will be satisfied, they
will correct their mistakes and work
hard to avoid making mistakes in the
future.
Conversely, when the boss points
out an employee’s mistake, if he/she
uses words that harass them, use
violence, or insult their opponent,
employee’s feeling will be deeply
hurt, rebel, and will feel that they
have received unjust discrimination.
Or, at that time, if the boss blames
the employee for something other
than a mistake, or says even his/her
personality or race, the employee
will be more rebel. And it may
develop into a Demonstration like
this time.
The words that are misleading are
also bad.
*
Since the company and the boss are
in the position of leaders, it is important
to properly judge what words should
be used to “Correct mistakes” and
at the same time, to lead to
“Employee growth.” And I hope you
to build an “Ideal Trustworthy
Labor-Management Relationship.”
Roles of Act ①②③ that are
performed under the Law of
Origin
Next, what if you practice Act ①,
Act ② and Act ③ well, under the
Law of Origin?
Also, what kind of effect and
meaning will practicing Act ①②③
bring to this problem?
If you practice the above three
actions, the Law of Origin will move
all phenomena and protect you
so that you do not make mistakes.
Because a mistake is a serious
problem.
As mentioned above, mistakes can
lead to major accidents and incidents.
On the other hand, if the method of
pursuing responsibility for mistakes
is excessive, it may lead to separation
between bosses and employees
within the company and the
development of social problems such
as lawsuits. It can also be the cause
of counter-action like this time
Demonstration.
So from the beginning, the Law of
Origin works to make you not make
a mistakes. The Law of Origin,
if you’re an employee, will protect
you to the best not to make a mistakes.
However, from your stand point,
you can never depend on the Law of
Origin just because you are protected.
For only about this, you cannot rely
on the power of the Law of Origin.
You control yourself, make a strong
commitment that “I’ll never make
a mistake,” and need to take the job
seriously. After doing like that, the
Law of Origin will protect you.
There is a limit to human
perseverance
As I said above, when human beings
are received with abuse, violence and
injustice, feelings of anger and hate occur.
And that can lead to violence and riots.
Therefore, to prevent it from happening,
we will control our own mind with
“Gentleness Perseverance,” show
“Will of Resistance” in the form of
non-violence and peace, and perform
Demonstration. That is good.
It will also have a great effect.
Like many police officers have
sympathized with it and kneeled
down in front of demonstrators.
However, human perseverance has
limitation.
Solving all problems with perseverance
is near impossible. For instance, when
you are treated excessively with the
abuse, violence, and injustice like
described above, how long can you
endure?
You can’t bear them indefinitely.
In this respect, if you do the Act ① and
Act ②’s Mercy and Wisdom Action,
you will not be subjected to violence,
abusive language, or unfair treatment
from the beginning.
Alternatively, you will receive less of
them.
The reason is, if you send mercy to
people heartly, send mercy to all living
existence (Act ①), wish the well-being
of citizens and society, and perform
a lot of valuable work with wisdom
(Act ②), the People around you will
begin to have “Respect” for your
actions. In other words, the “Heart of
Respect” to you will naturally begin to
develop in the hearts of those around
you. Therefore, as a result, you will be
less treated violence, abuse, and
injustice from the surroundings.
Therefore, Act ① and Act ②’s Mercy
and Wisdom action reduce the burden of
Act ③’s perseverance. In other words,
these two actions reduce the work
burden that Act ③’s perseverance
has to do.
Why does it become like that?
There is another fundamental reason.
If you do the Act ① and Act ②’s
Mercy and Wisdom action under the
Law of Origin, the power of the law
will act and because the movement
of surrounding phenomena will
protect you. That’s what I said above.
Especially the movements of those
phenomena will help you not to make
mistakes.
And if you don’t make a mistake,
you won’t be severely blamed by
surroundings nor treated by your
boss for abuse, violence, or injustice.
And you will be able to smoothly
cooperate with the people around
you and live in peace. Therefore, the
Law of Origin works to prevent you
not to make “mistake” as much as
possible, that is the root of the
problem.
Please be aware of that the Law of
Origin has such power. If you are
doing the Act ① and Act ②’s Mercy
and Wisdom action, you will be
able to know it empirically.
*
However, it is difficult to solve
all problems by Act ① and Act ②.
If you are engaged in social life,
there may be some human relationship
discord, or “arguing or conflicts.”
Also, some injustice and inequalities
can also occur.
Therefore, if any of those things happen,
please use Act ③ “Gentleness
Perseverance” to treat them.
It is the same as “Peace for thoughts.”
The three Acts illustrated
by an analogy
As mentioned above, the three
actions of Act ①, Act ②, and Act ③
are indispensable for humans to
live happily and healthy social life.
Therefore, in the information of the
Law of Origin, they are shown with
the following analogies.
Performing the Act ①’s Mercy
Action—
Entering Buddha’s Room
Performing the Act ②’s Wisdom
Action—
Sitting in a Buddha’s Chair
Activating the Act ③’s Gentleness
perseverance—
Wearing Buddha’s Strong Suits
By performing these three actions,
you can fuse with the Law of Origin
well.
The three Acts are the secret key
that you can live peacefully in a turbulent
world. They are also the key to lead the
turbulent world into a world of peace.
